Go at it. You just need your own jar and honey and you will have your own magical concoction, just as good as our pre-made syrup as long as you follow all the directions.

DIY Kit using only Certified Organic Raw Ingredients - NO HONEY/NO JAR

BENEFITS: Elderberries naturally contain A, B and C vitamins and have been clinically shown to stimulate and support the immune system to help ameliorate all kinds of cold and flu.

KIT: Yields approx 16 oz

  • 2 Cups Filtered Water
  • ½ Lemon or Orange Zest and juices *(not included but optional addition to brewing)
  • Herbs and Spices (included)
  • Elderberries (included)
  • Strainer *(not included)
  • Raw Organic Honey or Maple Syrup/Agave for Vegans and Infants under 1yr old *(not included)
  • Glass Jar *(not included)

 DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a small saucepan, add all ingredients, except honey. I also squeeze and put in the lemon & orange.
  2. Over high heat, bring mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer and cover. Simmer for 30 - 60 minutes.
  3. Remove elderberry from heat and strain through a fine mesh strainer with a wooden spoon or spatula, or use included cheese cloth, making sure to press and squish all the juices out. Discard any solids remaining.
  4.  After a few minutes, add honey into the strained juice and stir until completely mixed together.
  5.  Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 6 months!
  6. *TIP: The honey is added at the end of the process and not during the cooking process because heating up honey past a certain temperature can  cause it to lose all of its natural antibacterial/antiviral properties.

DOSAGE: Onset of symptoms, take every 4 hrs for 2 days, then continue 1-2x/day.

  • Toddlers 1 –  2 years: 1/2 – 1 tsp
  • Children 2 – 11 years: 1 tsp – 1 Tbsp
  • Children and Adults 12+ years:  1 – 2 Tbsp

INGREDIENTS: Certified Raw Organic and Whole Elderberries, Echinacea, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger Root, Camu Camu, Manioc, Acerola, Amla, Buckwheat  and Black Pepper Berries, along with Blueberries, Raspberries, Cranberries and Cherries.

STORAGE: Once made, store in a glass jar. Shake well before each use and refrigerate for up to 6 months.
